Trust Your Heart
I was moved by a movie
by Hal Hartley called Trust. Especially moving was the film's soundtrack
which added greatly to the overall effect of the film. Thanks to the magic
of the internet, I was able to get a copy of the soundtrack CD. I found
out that Hal (not a professional musician) did some of the music himself.
This moved me to do a song that might have fit in with the soundtrack
music. Due to its origin, I call this tune "Trust Your Heart".

Where Else?
Where else have you heard something like this one
before? I'm curious if you hear what I hear. Let me know your
thoughts by e-mail to me. ![]()
Let's Have Fun
This is my first song
with vocals. I purchased "Spiritual Voices" -- a license set of
chants and vocals that I am licensed to include in my music. I composed
all the music surrounding the vocals as well as modified many of the vocal
patterns with my digital equipment. I thought the best place to start was
to work with children's' voices and, since I was having so much of it, I thought
it appropriate to be called "Let's Have Fun". I hope you have fun with
it, too. ![]()
The Elf Man
I was inspired to write this song after
watching "Ed Wood" -- the movie about the director of "Plan 9
From Outer Space". The soundtrack was composed by Danny Elfman who
has done lots of great movie work ("Nightmare Before Christmas" and
"Mars Attacks"). The classic horror movie theme from
"Halloween" (John Carpenter) is also an inspiration for this
one. ![]()
Friends
An upbeat, yet mellow, new-age tune.
Dedicated to all my friends. Thanks for listening. ![]()
The

A dance number where I'm trying out
some of the features of my new E-Mu
Xtreme Lead-1. You'll need to listen to the real
audio or mp3 version to really hear what this song sounds like. ![]()
Lake Eerie Dance
Here's a techno/pop/dance number. It start's out a bit eerie and
then (I hope) you feel like dancing. I don't know where I got the "lake"
part -- I just though it fit. ![]()

Inspired by the work of Bruce Hornsby. The absolute best CD of 1998 was his double-CD set Spirit Trail.
We all know one of these guys. Always looking for the easy way out.
No longer a work in progress. Finished this on Turkey Day '99. Hope you feel some hope after listening to this one.
